The heroes arrive at Tatooine to rescue Han Solo as Jabba the Hutt's prisoner. However, all the heroes are captured by Jabba and sentenced to torture at the Sarlacc Pit, but Jabba has no way of knowing Luke Skywalker has set the ultimate trap to destroy Jabba. The heroes escape from the Pit of Carkoon and Jabba and all his minions perish.
The Rebel Alliance discovers the Empire is secretly building a new death star. As a result, the heroes set out to sabotage this super weapon. At the Sanctuary Moon of Endor, Han Solo and Princess Leia become allies with the stunning and ingenious Ewoks in order to defeat the Empire.
Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker surrenders to the Empire and Darth Vader takes Luke Skywalker to meet Emperor Dantius Palpatine. Feverishly, the Ewoks as expected defeat the Empire and the heroes destroy the shield protecting the second death star. The Rebels commence their attack against the death star.
A light saber duel ensues between Darth Vader vs. Luke Skywalker. Yet Luke Skywalker defeats Darth Vader after Darth Vader threatens to turn Princess Leia to the dark side of the Force if Luke Skywalker will not join the Sith Lords.
With no real surprise, Luke Skywalker refuses to become a Sith and throws down his light saber. Palpatine decides to torture Luke Skywalker to death with Force lightning. Before Luke Skywalker dies, Darth Vader betrays Palpatine and throws Palpatine to his death in the heart of the death star reactor core.
Only in the final moments of life did Palpatine suddenly realize the dark side always betrays its followers in the end and that all Sith Lords are expendable including the greatest Sith Master in the history of the Star Wars galaxy.
The Rebel Alliance annihilates the new death star. At the conclusion of Star Wars 6, the galaxy celebrates the collapse of the Empire and the permanent death of Emperor Palpatine.
