After many breath taking action sequences, Qui-Gon Jinn and Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi take Anakin Skywalker to the capital world of the Old Republic called Coruscant so that Qui-Gon Jinn can ask the Jedi Council to train Anakin Skywalker in the ways of the Force. At first the Jedi Knights are reluctant to accept a strange and dangerous youngster, who is really too old to become a Jedi padawan learner. However, after Darth Maul kills Qui-Gon Jinn on Naboo during a massively spectacular light saber showdown, Obi-Wan Kenobi convinces the Jedi Council to allow Anakin Skywalker to become a Jedi.
